I tested pH for my water, the color of the solution was darker than 7.6 so i tested for high range of pH and it came out to be 8.2 (i also tested for ammonia (0.5) and nitrate (0) if that helps)
My tank has only water and gravel in it. Now, how can i drop the pH down to 7.0 (which is ideal for a tank with different fish types)?
I heard that pH down and proper pH are not good, because they are either ineffective or they are effective, but for a short while?
what else can i do to drop pH down?
