My question is if a dealership liable for damages to a car done under warranty or not.
They tell me that the swirl marks left on the car to do the job were side effects to the work. They also tell me it was never done on warranty but it was done as "good faith". And that is why I was never charged.
There was a factory blemish on the body that was there since day 1 but I didn't bring it to the dealership where I bought it because I moved cities. They got the blemish out after 3 tries but now there are swirl marks and they wont take responsibility for it.
They keep arguing with me that they will not fix the damage and that if I want it fixed that I should pay for it.
Am I in the right?
