I know after you've downloaded a torrent your ip address shows but what after i've deleted the torrent off of my computer can it still be shown?

can your ip adress still be shown after you've deleted a torrent?

As soon as any piece of that torrent has been downloaded your IP has been logged on some computer somewhere and can be traced to you. Even if you delete the torrent.
