10 belt whips or 5? (I don't want to use the rod) and should I do it with pants down? what does the bible say?
@Quo: so the more I hit, the more i love him? should I increase the whipps then?

Proverbs 13:24 says,

He who spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is careful to discipline him.


If you love him then discipline him accordingly.
