...impossible? If it is tell me why?
I am now delusional from doing that though but I want to fix my mind again.

Hi
Yes it can be
In Islam if we decided to do something and we are not sure about it (eg. choosing a study for my bachelor,, or getting married of a particular man). we make Istekhara pray.
i pray this and ask Allah and untill now all my decisions in my life are satisfied.
this is the translation of what we say if we pray for the one and only God

TRANSLATION: "O Allah! I seek goodness from Your Knowledge and with Your Power (and Might) I seek strength, and I ask from You Your Great Blessings, because You have the Power and I do not have the power. You Know everything and I do not know, and You have knowledge of the unseen. Oh Allah! If in Your Knowledge this action ------------------------------------------------ (which I intend to do) is better for my religion and faith, for my life and end [death], for here [in this world] and the hereafter then make it destined for me and make it easy for me and then add blessings [baraka'] in it, for me. O Allah! In Your Knowledge if this action is bad for me, bad for my religion and faith, for my life and end [death], for here [in this world] and the hereafter then turn it away from me and turn me away from it and whatever is better for me, ordain [destine] that for me and then make me satisfied with it."

The Prophet (Mohammed) used to teach us the way of doing Istikhara, in all matters as he taught us the Suras of the Quran. He said, "If anyone of you thinks of doing any job he should offer a two Rakat prayer other than the compulsory ones and say (after the prayer):

Yes it is impossible for two reasons: 1. God doesn't exist, but even if he did 2. dreams aren't prophecies. Studies suggest that dreams are interpretations of various aspects of our lives.

It is possible but I don't know if you should ask for this.
I never asked to have dreams come to pass .
It just happens to people.
You can become delusional if you think every dream is a message from God.
Some dreams are just your subconscious working out things.
You know how it feels when a dream you dream comes to pass and so when you feel that feeling , you know to pay attenion. Write your dreams down. Find another person who has dreams that foretell a future event.
It happens in all cultures. It is not just a Christian weirdism.

If you believe in your heart in God and have faith in him, he may respond you, as you asked him; but if you believe in God and pray for him to respond you, he will not, because God can not be tempted, not even Lucifer with all of his tricks could tempt God as the son of man in Jesus.

I don't even think I understand the question! Let's break it down:

1. There is a God! The God of the Bible is the one true God.
2. Belief in God is always going to be your starting point.
3. Prayer is how we talk to God.
4. God can speak to us through our hearts, minds, thoughts, dreams, etc.
5. God can and has shown people their futures before.

So ... you are asking God (through prayer) to use dreams to show you your future. Right? And you ask ... Is believing in this impossible?

The question is sooooooooooooooooo curiously phrased I just can't wrap my brain around it! God CAN show you your future through dreams. That's possible! You obviously can beileve it's possible, even if God chooses not to do so.

The question and answer both seem pointless.

It is not impossible, but it is unlikely. If you knew the future you would try to change it. God will sometimes give you a dream to warn you of a bad thing that might happen if you are not careful. God might show you something bad that is going to happen to let you know you will get through it. It is difficult to know if the dream is prophetic, a warning, or just a wish or a fear. Do not be overly focused on dreams. Take it with a grain of salt. We don't know what dreams mean for sure, so we should not be excited by, or afraid of them.

Romans 8:28-30 reveals what the Purpose and plan of God is; and is where the Spirit of the Lord is and willing to unfold these things that are according to the Purpose of God.

When we died and were buried with christ in baptism (by the Spirit and not water) were died with Him, and in that He was raised from the dead by the glory (the Spirit) of the Father, we were raised with Him, Romans 6: 3-4

Paul declared, that in that we were raised with Christ it is Christ in us (eternal life) that we live: "I was crucified with Christ nevertheless I live yet not I , but it is "Christ in me" To live is Christ.

Now it is no longer I I I I, but it is Christ who lives, and in that I live i live unto God; according to His purpose, where all things wok together for good, to them who love God, to them who are called according to His Purpose.

The purpose of God is understood, Romans 8: 29-30, and with being born again we are in the spirit of the heart ( the inward man) created in the image of Christ. Now we are saving our soul and its members: the will and mind and intellect with the emotions and feelings, putting on the new man. Through the knowledge of \Him who created him, our minds are renewed, and we are transformed.

As you are maturing in Christ God will wean you and feed you on the hidden wisdom , the wisdom of God in a mystery, 1 Corinthians 2: 6-14

That's a hard one to answer. I've seen glimpses of the future in some of my dreams before, but I've never prayed for them. Who knows? Try it.

Is it impossible to *believe* that? Of course not.

However, God isn't real, and it is impossible to know the future, so you're not going to get any results.

Nothing is impossible with God.

Also, God can reveal things through dreams, as you can see a list by clicking here: http://www.biblegateway.com/quicksearch/?quicksearch=dream&qs_version=NIV
