Most people are mad. Bush and his buddies didn't respond to pleas for help when people started losing their homes. Now that the sub-prime mess has infiltrated the whole economy, Bush will bail out the Wall Street bankers but it is too late. Republicans never pay attention to ordinary people and this is what happens as a result.

No ONE person has the power - even the president - to run the economy into the ground. There are many, many reasons why our economy is in the tank and to hang it on one individual is extremely simplistic.
