Help unblocking a Sony Ericsson k800i?

i had same trouble with my samsung to vodafone. what you have to do is fone your manufacturer and ask for the unblocking code. took amonth for me and they take the money (£10?) off your cred. if this doesn't work i would buy a diff. mobile that is compatible with your network, or if they don't have it, switch newtorks but ask to keep existing nnumber....

Try going to peckham, dalston or anywhere in south east london. you can get them unlocked in a little shop or booth in one of those places. peckham is the cheapest at £5, it should only take a day or two at the most.

I did it 2 days ago but that was 02 to T-mobile, but it doesn't really matter what network. You need to find a shop that does unlocking i found one and paid them £15 and waited 20 minutes and now have an unlocked k800i. If you don't kno of such a shop go into a phone shop e.g. vodafone, o2 anything and ask them how you could get it unlocked and they will tell you providing you tell them its there network you want to get it unlocked to!

Hi,Vodafone will be happy to unlock your K800i for you.You simply need to have an account with us, either Pay As You Talk (PAYT) or Contract. We can unlock the phone free of charge is your have a contract account. If you’re a PAYT customer there'll be a charge of £19.99 (inc VAT) unless the phone is over 12months old where again it will be free. You simply need to give our customer services a quick call with the make/model of phone and the IMEI number and they can give you the code. The IMEI can be obtained by entering *#06# into your phone or it can also be located in the battery compartment of the device. If the code is kept on our system then we can give it to you immediately, if not there is a timescale of up to 72hours.I hope this helps.TechgirlVodafone UK
