"A secure connection could not be established. Please check your date and time...

...settings" iTunes problem? This is the message I get when I try to download an app on my iPhone 3G from the app store. My date and time are correct. I have tried changing the date and time, turning the phone off and back on, and signing out of my iTunes account. Now I cannot sign back in. I have the latest OS update and my iPhone is not jailbroken. This problem started recently as I had downloaded an app earlier yesterday morning. Please only respond if you have a solution to my problem. I will flag useless answers.

make sure the date and time is correct in the settings and turn off wi-fi for 2secs and turn it back on. Power the device off. You should be able to turn your wi-fi on if you need it and use the app store
