How to remove DivX Plus control panel?

I previously downloaded the new DivX Plus (don't do it) and it didn't work so i deleted it. However, the DivX Plus control panel is still on my computer even though DivX Plus isn't. Simple question: how do i get rid of it? Thanks

NB: I tried the usual right-click, delete method but it didn't work

On 64-bit Win7, it hides in C:\Windows\SysWOW64, along with a number of divx DLLs. Deleting the cpl file (and the DLLs for good measure) does the trick.

    go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\
scroll down find all the divx files delete them manually.
It will take that annoying icon from the control panel
