Do mercedes benz give new cars to old ones?

Hi. I have a mercedes benz E class. One of my neighbours has an old Volkswagen. It is more than 10 years old and the company got it off of her and said that they can swap it for a brand new car, or a refund. No problems. She has also told me that mercedes benz swaps your old car for a brand new car. Is this true or not.

    Thanks for your help

they will part exchange it, so they will cut the price off the new car of what your current car is worth.
