Volkswagen Jetta Transmisson cap leaking need to replace?

I have a 95 Jetta and the transmisson cap is pretty much gone it is leaking out from the top. I don't know what the part is called a guy from autozone said something about it possibly being a bolt? Anyways if you could tell me what the heck it is actually called and where I can get it. I was told I might have to go to the dealership but if figured it was worth a shot. Thanks! 5spd trans.

Are you referring to the cap that covers the filler hole, like this: http://www.germanautoparts.com/Volkswagen/Jetta/Transmission/439/1

Let me know either way, I can get you the dealership part number for that cap or another part you need. I don't think it's going to be expensive, dealership is probably the best option if they are close to you.
