im getting the motorola cliq..
do i really have to have the data plan..
can i just pop my sim card in a use it...
what cant i do without the internet.
well i still be able to get mms?
well i have any problems with out the data plan?

Yes you need internet because Android phones use a gmail account to activate the phone and store all of your contacts and app download information online.
