How do I write video files, such as .avi or .wmv files, to a blank DVD and be able to take them straight out of the computer and put them into my DVD player and have them work? Also, instead of a blank DVD, would a blank CD work if the file would fit onto the disc or do I have to use a blank DVD no matter what size the file is?
I can convert the video files. But I need to know what to do to make the DVD Player play it. Do I just copy and Paste the file to the dvd and burn it that way, or do I need special software or something.

Download free studio. Its free and has a lot of conversion tools and is easy to use and you can choose video to dvd and click browse and as long as you know the path to find your video etc just add it and click burn or create dvd and put the dvd blank in and it is done. heres the link to the free studio, just click on the green download box.~~
