Is it possible to switch an Rogers Iphone over to Telus?

My friend recent gave me his iphone but i have a contract with telus and his phone/contract was previously under rogers. Is it possible to switch this phone over?

You can use it on TELUS if it's 3G (2G won't work) AND unlocked. You will also have to switch your plan to the HSPA network and get data as well.
