Lately, my dog has started doing this thing where she rolls onto her back and starts wiggling around like she has an itch. She starts whining and barking while she is doing this. At first I thought it was cute, but over the last few days it has gotten more frequent.
I have tried itching her back for her, but it doesn't seem to help. I have even taken her a bath in case there was some dirt or something irritating her. She doesn't have fleas. When she isn't doing this she is a very happy dog, running around and being her silly self. There isn't any change in behavior, eating, or drinking habits. Just that she is now doing this wiggling business every hour. I'm going to take her into the vet, but I thought it couldn't hurt to ask here too.
