My LG Web slider's screen went black and wont turn on ?

I had just finished charging it so I texted a few mates , then I went back to check it and the screen was black so I treid sliding ut up and won a few times (slowly) but it wouldn't work .. then I took the battery out and blew on it ( I know, pretty helpless and random) then I put it all back in correctly and put the charger in,
Bottom line is; it won't work ..
please help
