DivX player not working! Any ideas??

I installed the divx player yesterday then i when i try to watch anything it says check your internet connection but it is fine! why won't it play vids?

download kodecs like klite codec and install it, a codec for any kinds of video format im using wmp and i got no probs from watching different kinds of video formats 3gp avi dvd mpeg etc...

DivX is crap , download VLC player it playes EVERYTHING and is one of the best .

Use " VLC " player from VideoLAN , it will play just about everything you throw at it including DivX files. Search for VLC player and install.

My guess it could be that your codecs are not set right ...download k-lite codec pack ...its free and simple to install and you wont even know its there however it does the job and is great with windows player so you might be better watching from that as that's what ive found to work

uninstall the software...then reinstal a new version of divix
