I've been trying to find out the name of this movie for a while, and it sdriving me crazy.

All I remember of it is that it is based on competetive fighting between humans and aliens or aliens vs. aliens. They used some kind of "Handicapping" light to level the playing field but at the end the bad guys messed with it to have the bad alien try to kill the human good guy. Really the only other thing I remember was that the good guy sparred with a big aligator-man alien too. Its pretty cheezy and reminds me some of Robot Jox and was made around the same time.

I wish I could put more details in but its been like 15 years since I've seen it. Please help me!!

Recently, this has been showing up on various cable movie channels, and I watched it a couple of times after not having seen it since about 1990. I really enjoyed it! It was fun seeing how they did things before they started depending on CGI. Some might dub it "cheesy", but I like it a lot more than many more-recent sci fi films.

i think I saw it also,it may have had Don the dragon wilson in it,if that helps.
