Using U torrent to put movies on ipod?

So I'm not the most tech savvy guy in the world, though i can manage simple programs like u torrent and itunes. I was wondering if i could download a movie from the internet, put it in itunes, and sync it with my ipod. If the process would be more complicated or if in some way i was in over my head, suggestions such as don't bother are also welcome and appreciated . thanks
