how can I get higher speeds with my bittorrent downloading?

I have high speed dsl and I cant seem to ever get any more than 140 kbps. i use utorrent

right click on the file downloading there is band which allocation slow the sped of upload at 5 or 3 it my effect on downloading

The torrent's speed depends on three things:
seeds-more seeds=higher speeds
peers
good health-very important(if your health is good,your torrent will be faster)

either use a pay torrent service or only download torrents that have a higher amount of seeders compared to leechers
