This version of jingle bells does not sound like the original much at all. Probably not at all. It starts off with high pitch whistling, or flutes, or something like that. I think the first thing the man sings is "Dashing through the snow, in a one horse open sleigh" then the 'whistling' goes again. He also says "jingle" multiple times, cutting out a little bit. Please help me! I work in retail and it plays at the store I work at so I hear it everyday I just can't help but be this curious on who sings it or what it's called. Thanks.

As far as who sings it...I'm not all that sure. Every year a bunch of diffrent people sing it. But it is by James Lord Piepont and was copyrighted as "One Horse Open Sleigh".

Dashing through the snow
In a one horse open sleigh
O'er the fields we go
Laughing all the way
Bells on bob tails ring
Making spirits bright
What fun it is to laugh and sing
A sleighing song tonight

Oh, jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh

A day or two ago
I thought I'd take a ride
And soon Miss Fanny Bright
Was seated by my side
The horse was lean and lank
Misfortune seemed his lot
We got into a drifted bank
And then we got upsot

Oh, jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh yeah

Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh
