Using a Rogers phone with A Fido Sim card?

My existing wireless plan is with Fido, however, my phone just broke down and I doubt I can get a deal for renewing or extending my existing and will probably end up purchasing a new phone. Now, what Fido offers is very limited in phone selection and I'm wondering if it's possible to purchase a rogers pre-paid phone which mean having to pay the whole price for the phone at for instance futureshop and use it with an existing Fido sim card?

If not, can someone offer any alternatives? Not too expensive ones plz

Yes,you can get the Rogers phone and make it available with Fido network....provided the phone is unlocked. To unlcok you can approach your service provider or a third party unlcok like Onlinegsmunlock.com and remove the network lock permanently.
