Would you stop talking to your ex as a friend if he forgot to greet you a

birthday greeting? We're in good terms and hanged out 3 days ago at the beach. We still make out and caress each other but know that we cannot be in a relationship anymore. My parents are going away for a month in Dec and he's suppose to hang out with me during that month they are gone. But now that he forgot my birthday (which he knows bcuz he knew from last year and myspace) I don't know if I should even consider him as a friend because it shows how much he does not care. Maybe not even hang out with him in Dec.

My guy friend told me, guys are horrible at remembering dates. So its an honest mistake to forget birthdays.
