Oh there are so many,
If you are just doing a research paper, you can talk about some of the unethical experiments that were done. The best two are the Stanford Prison Experiment (put on a uniform and become a completely different person, even become an abusive evil prison guard or a submissive prisoner) and the Milgrim experiment (yes, the Nazi camp guards were "just following orders" and chances are you would do the same thing). They have awesome back ground stories and great results.
If you actually have to do an experiment, the easiest thing is to replicate a study. Try something easy like "framing effects." Chen Lin and Worthley wrote one up that is pretty easy to understand. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/8961318
This explains that how you "frame" a question will lead people to answer differently even if the question is essentially the same. Think of it like This: HOW you ask for permission may be more important than WHAT you are asking permission to do.
If you want to discuss an interesting phenomenon in a review of liturature, look at the Pygmalion effect (aka Rosenthal effect). It is the self fulfilling prophecy. They told teachers which students were likely to "bloom" during the school year. The students were randomly picked, but they did end up blooming simply because the teacher expected them to (even though her expectations were based on nothing concrete). Other questions are raised by this. If students are known as failures, are they more likely to fail the next year because the teacher expects them too? What if that F student changes their study habits, do they have to work harder to fight against the expectations of the teachers? There are lots of studies that have tried to capture and measure the effect of the self fulfilling prophecy.
You could also do a lit review on something like the Tip of the Tongue phenomenon. You know, where the word is on the tip of your tongue. It has been studied and is related to how we remember things. Elusive but commonly experienced phenomenon are always interesting to research and write about.
If you want to do something on a specific condition or disorder, try Asperger's Syndrome. Its on the Autism spectrum, but these people are very high functioning. They are almost like typical individuals but they find social cues, nonverbal communication, and things like sarcasm or humor to be almost impossible to understand. They are usually just seen as weird people that "just don't get it," and they often go undiagnosed for decades. This usually leads them to think that something is "wrong" with them but never find out that many people share this condition. Very interesting topic and is a relatively new one.
