I have HP laptop. that came with blue ray drive.
I bought it 4 months ago.
It burns DVD with no problem but I can't play them or watch movies.
(I can play the dvd on another laptop with no problems)
Every time I click on play I got (insert a disc) message
& the dvd comes out of the drive
what do you think the problem is & how can I fix it?
blondie: Yes I played a movie on it once

yvonnepw123: I tried that& it didn't work

You can try going to Windows "Hardware and Sound" and assigning which media you would like to use to play your dvds, e.g, cyberlink DVD Suite or other media player on your computer.

Your laptop might just have a blue-ray disc burner on it & not be able to play them, just burn them, has it played them before?
