translation for 'Dode'--not uncle.? I saw an old post from Google about 'dode' and ppl were answering Ra-hah, rahavah and dode. I have the first two in Hebrew but need Dode. I feel the English 'spelling' is causing errors. Also, in context of the Song of Solomon, can you translate all three so I can remove any errors?

"Dode" is Hebrew. It's spelled ????*. It means "My beloved, my friend, my close one, my dear one, my intimate one, my kindred, etc." "My beloved" is the most common translation.

*Daled-Vav-Daled-Yud (The "?" Yud is a suffix that means "my.")

It would help if you could post the other words in Hebrew. I could translate them in context if I knew what I was looking for.
