So, I have a Nokia 3110c, that I am even now using as the modem, but through bluetooth.
Every time I connect the phone with the datacable, it recognises it, tries to install the drivers, but it fails.
Two popups appear, one that has a device named "Ports", and another for "Nokia 3110c USB Modem"
'Cannot install this hardware.
There was a problem installing this hardware.
Ports
An error occurred during the installing of the device.
A service installation section in this INF is invalid.'
For 'Ports', if it try the Add hardware wizard, select to search in windows update, it just pops up the same dialog.
For the modem, it just says 'Windows was unable to install this modem.'
I have tried PC suite 7.0.9.2, PC suite 7.0.8.2, trying to use the PC suite cleaner 7.0.1, trying the Connectivity Cable Driver 7.0.2.0, but nothing has worked.
Im using win XP SP3
earlier i was having windows xp sp2 and it is working properly with same data cable. can any one can solve my problem .
