I thought Xbox 360 could stream Divx files? I'm not sure, I can stream Xvid which is the same type of format with TVersity. I had to hook up an eithernet from the Xbox to the my Hub but thats how I get on the internet anyways. The only downside is I only got this working in XP, I haven't gotten it working in Vista, I think thats because of Widnows Media Center.
You don't need a blu-ray player either if you just want to watch DiVX files (after all, you can't copy a blu-ray disc). You need a digital media player You can just process the movie on your PC and transfer them to the digital media player like this one:
