Argentina - Buenos Aires interests protected.
Cuba - Restore democracy there.
Guam - Spain was using it as hostage.
Honduras - Marines intervene in revolution.
Liberia - involvement in peacekeeping force
Colombia - Helped protect them their oil pipeline.
Japan - Self defence
Philippines - Training mission for Philippine military
Macedonia - Disarm Albanian rebels.

Sudan - Attack on pharmaceutical plant for "terrorist" nerve gas plant.
Kuwait - They were attacking Iraq.
Lebanon - They were occupying south of Israel.
Angola - Helping South African rebels get their rights.

So before bashing America, the land of the free; just realize that we only attack other countries because we care about them too much and want what's best for them.

Are you sure about Mexico sending illegals here and causing terrorism? That war was in 1848, during the U.S. expansionist phase.

Didn't we invade Panama in 1989 because the dictator Noreiga was involved in the drug trade? So how was that not in our self interest?

Also.... Countries like Russia, China, Cuba, North Korea are all communist styled regimes... And Nepal recently elected a communist government! Why not invade them as well?

Probably, because unlike all those other countries China, Russia, and North Korea especially are no push overs. The US government doesn't like to be the playground loser. But is more than happy to be the bully to those countries that can't stand up to them.

And why, in all those stupid American movies. Is the USA depicted as being the only place in the world, or as the center of the universe and its the US government to save everyone from everything. While hilariously stupid, it gives people the opinion that people in the USA are oppressors themselves, hypocrites and extremely arrogant.

Mexico - 1848 there has been no illegals. And what's today state of Texas has been part of Mexico. The only illegals in Texas during that time were the American cowboys and their cows

Vietnam - people were not oppressed, they choose the leader. But this leader was not a US puppet.

Iraq - if people there were so oppressed back there then today they are really screwed.

Afghanistan - do you really believe that a bunch of illiterate narrow minded talibans could plan and succeed the 9/11??? Have you ever asked yourself WHO funded and created the talibans in the first place? If you read some history you will find that all of the talibans were financed by CIA against the Soviet Union in 1980's. All of the terrorists were SAUDI ARABIANS and the last time I checked the US President was bowing to the Saudi King.
