I'm trying to watch an xvid video and not only does it keep saying i need to update but a few of them seem to have no volume?
Does this happen to any of you?

i know you can't edit xvid videos in vegas video and that sucks, but i use vlc media player to play them and have never had any problems, it's free and you can get it at www.download.com it plays just about any video file you throw at it including dvds good luck P
yes this has happened to me because i did not have the right codecs to play those types of videos. get vp6 codec. you can just google it. or if that doesn't work try cccp (combined community codec pack)
You need to download the latest codecs for it , so first update your xvid then download the codecs for it , should work o.k. then.
