Telus is a not a traditional cable TV service, they are IPTV.
They are a phone company that supplies phone and DST, and TV if you want it. If you cannot get IPTV, they will offer you their satellite TV service.
To get their TV service, you need to actually subscribe to it and get their set-top-box. The signal they supply without a box is incompatible with TVs directly.
