Hi you have 250mins, theres no plan called share smartphone combo he probably has share combo 45 or he has a reg share plan with a data ftre for his web either way if the plan starts with share then you re sharing the mins.

My dad and I are about to upgrade our phones and get new ones. I want a smartphone while he just wants an ordianary phone. Here is plan we wanted to get.

~Samsung Omnia (smartphone) - 3 year contract
Share Smartphone Combo ( 200 minutes)

~Lg Shine - 3 year contract
Share 15 (50 minutes)

So in the end do we share the combined 250 minutes or is it just 50 for him and 200 for me?

You both draw from the 250 minutes until they are gone. In reality, one user may use all of the minutes.
