pregnant and smoking!?

im 20 weeks,and i just had a cigarrete!

i know i should havent done it!but!....how bad is to smoke while pregnant?

Its not that bad... its just better not to risk it, my friend had a healthy baby while smoking a crap load and my mom had 4 healthy babies while smoking a pack a day... I smoked during my pregnancy and im now 22w with a healthy baby but i wouldn't start smoking because once you realize your hurting your baby for no reason it might be to late to quit and once you try it could not only put alot of stress on you and on your baby.

its horrible, but if it was only one do not beat yourself up. You need to quit and talk to your doctor asap. I have a friend who smoked with her son and he only weighed 3 pounds at birth. She had to leave him in the hospital for 6 months before he got to come home. She loved her baby and it killed her to see what she did to him. It got so bad she could not even look at him and ending up leaving him with his dad so she could move on with her life. Quit before you make a mistake you cannot fix.

if you just had one then likely everything will be fine. Smoking when pregnant is so stupid and selfish. You can hurt your unborn child before they even get into the world.

it is really bad to smoke whilst pregnant, but if u had just one cigarr it shouldn't do damage to the baby
