What is BitTorrent....?

its where you can download movies faster actually anything with entertainment off the internet. just make sure no one catches you downloading illegal stuff.

In conventional peer-to-peer file sharing, you download a file from one or multiple hosts who all have the complete file.

In bittorrent, a file is started by one person, and as it's downloaded by more people, some people may have the whole thing, but most are in the process of downloading it. Bittorrent not only downloads from those who have the whole file, but it downloads from those who only have parts, but not necessarily the same parts you have.

Torrent sites are places where people can share and download movies, music, games, ect. for free. Do not get the idea that because they are there they are ok for use. These sites and use of them is ILLEGAL. And if you are caught, they THROW THE BOOK AT YOU. I'm not kidding, you can probably find it on Google. And if you're underage (below 18) your parents get it instead. One kid got caught and his dad WENT TO JAIL. He didn't even know his kid was doing it and he got prison time anyhow. Please refrain from using these sites. People also include viruses in their downloads too that can wreck your computer.

It's great! You can download movies through it, and the movies are great quality 99.8% of the time. It's also quite quick and very easy to use. No complications. =]
 
BitTorrent is a Torrent that allows you to download things people upload to it, like movies, music, games, things like that. some files have viruses embedded in them, so some people regret using it. The downside to it is viruses, and when there's more people 'leeching', or downloading it than there are people 'seeding', or providing it.

Basically a way to download things you want.
