A really hard riddle! best answer is ten points?

As someone said he was playing cards ( bicycle brand ) and caught cheating etc. And killed him. The way i say the riddle is " A man was found dead next to a green table an ashtray and 52 bikes how'd he die?"

Bicycle is a common brand of playing cards. Since there are 52 cards in a pack, the 53rd card must have been hidden up his sleeve. He was shot for cheating at cards.

Why didn't you say bicycles instead of bikes? That made me think a while.

Somebody already kind of got it exept there are only 52 cards in a deck. the guy mus have cheated in the game a different way.

Because you misspelled "52 Dikes" and he was a man.

EDIT: would you people shut up about the 53 cards thing!

Your riddle is wrong. It goes:

A man is found dead with 53 bicycles in the room (not 52).

Answer:

The bicycles are "bicycle" playing cards, and he was caught cheating with an extra card, hence the 53 cards as opposed to 52. The other players killed him when they found out he was cheating.
