in the english translation of the Kjv the word sodomy is actually used in leviticus 17 or 18.
the reasons God destroyed the world with the flood are listed there too.
the words also used in hebrew describ "coppulation" which is a very plain and clearn teaching that sodom is described as an "abomination" by God.

however, disclaimer, not all things by homosexuality alone are called an abomination by God. i think john 16 also defines what an abomination is for christians. or is it 12:16?

There is no controversy as my opinion is based on bible teaching that homosexuallity is abhorent to God and that homosexual offenders will not be in God's kingdom.

I'm a Christian, and I believe that god wants everyone to be happy and if that means some people are made happy by dating members of the same sex, then it's all cool! As a person, it doesn't make a difference to my life who people f**k so I'm cool with gays

I don't think it was nature's intent but shifts have taken place in terms of chromosomes and whatnot, so people are indeed born gay and they shouldn't be discriminated against by the government.

since there seems to be no reasoning with them....it must be a type of insanity caused from sin! it is written that GOD turns depraved people over to their desires and so I can only conclude they are truly lost....

We can't take the form with us so whatever keeps us from discovering that we are not the form but pure spirit, keeps us bound. The deeper the bondage the greater the pain. But as long as we enjoy the world we will not do what is necessary to overcome it so enjoy. Why is it that every joy turns to suffering? It doesn't? Watch.
When we awaken in spirit that is the end of suffering and fear. Even death loses it's hold on us.
Sensuality is bondage whatever the attachment.

God's opinion is the only one that matters on that topic , and He calls it sin.
