How do I help bring someone to Christ?

someone very special to me isn't a Christian, but he's willing to try. i've honestly never tried to do something like this before, but... i know i can help. i was thinking maybe studying the book of John with him? but i don't know how to "conduct" a bible study... and then i was thinking maybe to find a new believers' bible study? but i've never even seen one before, so.... -sigh- maybe i could tell him to try praying once a day? you don't really have to know how to do that. you can just tell God anything.

but i really need help. please? share your ideas?

P.S. please, no negative comments. i've gotten plenty from friends i've asked about this same situation. =(

I would very much like to help bring you to believe in the invisible pink unicorn. She is soooo awesome!

I am so blessed to have the love of the invisible pink unicorn in my life. My relationship with her is the core of my being. After all, I wouldn't be here if it weren't for her. She answers every prayer. I hope that she touches each of you with her holy hooves. Please open your liver to her incredible truth. Although my faith in her is deep and abiding, I have also seen the hole in the wall that has been made with her unique horn.

Lie to him and tell him that thousands of people were never killed in his name and that you can do what ever you want to without having to apologize or worry about the consequences because you can wrap yourselves up in his rubber robe and hae faith that he will forgive even if no one else will...

If he's willing to try, then take him to Church and let it go from there. I'm sure other Christians you know have had more experience doing this and can help

It helps if you live the life yourself and understand the basics of salvation. If you do, it doesn't hurt to try, but there's no need to convince anyone. it's not your job to save souls, it's only your job to inform.

Actually, I would suggest that it's an affront to God to try to override someone else's freedom to choose their own way. Freedom is God-given. He'll take care of the salesmanship, you just play messenger.

It's really not a good idea to do that, in my opinion he doesn't need the religion

As long as your special friend doesnt pay close attention to detail then you could read the bible, otherwise you wont find anything of value there.
