I have heard many rumours about xboxlive becoming free in 2010 ?

Many people have been telling me that Microsoft is going to make Xbox live free to compute with PS3, but ihave not found any ligit proof from Microsoft, can anyone help me get this straight ?

Yep, Microsoft officially announced that Xbox Live will become free sometime in first quarter 2010. Anyone who recently signed up for a 1 year gold membership will be refunded.

That's a lie, microsoft will NEVER give you a refund, if you bought a 1 year you are S.O.L. and as for it being free, uh, some guy telling you over a forum isnt exactly as legit as it may seem... -.- just wait till microsoft announces it OFFICIALLY and dont buy membership.

xbox live will be free and then ps3 will relis how much mony thay have losts and they will haft to pay then what concoul will be better i fink xbox

it'd be cool if you bought a 1 year membership 363 days before (if) it becomes free and then you'll get the previous year free as well as it becoming free

im guessing that microsoft would somehow transfer the money you spent on xbox live into the account that you bought games/microsoft points with

I just plugged into the internet and I have free xbox live (silver membership)...it's apparently going to cost me to upgrade to Gold but silver is definately free.

ya that would be awesome if live would be free. But my live expires today, so unless its free i have buy more
