What is a good sport for a 13 year old uncoordinated girl?

Are there any? My mom said she wants me to join a sport.

I got back surgery in February but my doctor said I should be able to do sports starting in September.

I kind of trip a lot too...
    What is crew?

I don't know if this will be good for your back, but try rhythmic or artistic gymnastics. I do rhythmic, and I have to bend my back a lot, but it will make your spine healthy. START OFF EASY THOUGH! Chech with your Doctor. Also, try Swimming. It is also good for your mack becasue when you move through the water it like massages your back. If you could run, try Soccer, Tennis, Basketball. AGAIN!- check with your Doctor. Good luck and I hope your back gets better!

Swimming! You can't trip underwater, and it will definitely be better for your injured back as there won't be any pounding on pavement and the water tends to give more support.

Martial arts, such as tai chai. This will give you confidence, strength, balance. Find a studio nearby and make sure that the focus is on discipline and form. You will learn self-defense and form many close friends.

maybe swimming? also there are some events in track like pole vaulting or long jumping that might work for you. I would just try different stuff out...

Shot put, archery, discus, rowing, football, cross country running. There's lots. Coordination will come so don't limit yourself. Do a few tryouts.
