I don't want to pick on Oklatonola (her answer is certainly correct), but Einstein died in 1955, and the idea that something might exist which was massive enough to have a gravitational acceleration requiring an escape velocity greater than the speed of light (and so would be perfectly black) was actually mentioned by Gauss in a letter written in the early part of the 19'th century. (IIRC there was also some Cleric who speculated on the possibility of such a thing even earlier than that.)
Certainly Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar had worked out the theoretical mass limit (the so called "Chandrasekhar Limit" required for a star to contract into a black hole) by the early 1930's.
