Anyone familiar with growing green bell peppers?

I want to grow some on my apartment deck to save on food costs. But I have some questions before I get started:

How much do green pepper plants typically cost?

How many peppers can grow on one plant?

Does it take long for them to grow and do they grow continuously?

    Thanks for any help.

if you grow them in pots take some tin foil and put it on the top of the soil under the plant. This will keep moisture in the pot and reflect sunlight up into the plants and give you a better, bigger yield. I did mine with disposable pie plates and it worked really well.

Think your a little late on wanting to purchase a plant now. My neighbor has them growing on their deck already and about ready to be picked. I have tomatoes and will be picking my first in a couple days. Want it to be really red. The stores are out of plants now. An cost depends on where you get them and the size you buy. These questions can be answered by a phone call to where you want to purchase them from. They last all summer until a frost if you care for them properly.
