why does everyone hate new moon by stephanie meyer?

everyone ADORES edward cullen. and if he's gone... so are the readers, simple as that. i actually liked new moon... not that much, but it was pretty good. we got to see Jacob.

if you havent noticed, there are two groups.
1. Edward and Bella - 85% of people are in this group
2. Jacob and Bella - 15% of people are in this group

AKA if edward isnt really in the book.... 85% or well.... MOST of the people will hate that book the most. and ofcourse... the remainder

15% will love this book the most cause it has the most of Jacob and Bella flirting together.

I don't hate it. It's not my favourite book of the series, but it's pretty good still.

personally i dont like any of them. its the same thing..bella weak and mopey and edward saves her and pretty much nothing happens until a huge conflict like the last 50 pages. but thats just my opinion.

i think people hate new moon because its like the whole first book builds up edward and bella being in love, and you expect that the second book. then right away its like oh, bye edward. hellooo jacob!

people aren't open to new people
i know people who skip that book
and miss out on A LOT of details.
