Why don't my dogs sniff people?

I'm not complaining but when I got Windy and a year later I got Max, I've been wondering why they haven't been ambushing my butt and my front area like my Labs. I know dogs can sense things like gender, age, and emotions for dogs, it may be the same for humans? (Letting my friend's dog sniff my front saved me from getting barked and growled at everytime I came over) I know sniffing is normal for dogs since their worlds are dominated by smells so why doesn't my little mixed Pom Pom and my Siberian Husky sniff people?
