Which company's comics are better? Marvel or DC?

generally, I preferred the marvel universe because the backstories involving the superheroes usually involved some normal joe off the street who becomes infected, bitten, irradiated, mutated, or otherwised changed into this superpowered individual. There is usually more depth to the character, more involved storylines and less reliance on deus ex machina to close out a storyline.

DC was good in the 40s and 50s with batman and superman, but frankly, marvel has kicked butt since then.

DC has the better graphic novels.

Marvel has the better long running series and more superheroes.

I personally prefer DC for that reason, but for the same reason others may like marvel.

marvel. is best dc sucks. marvel has numerous characters that are great. look at movie box office if nothing else. plus dc has never really developed female characters . wonderwoman is the best they can do. how about electra , storm , jean grey. she hulk wanda the witch. etc etc.
