how many text messages can the telus htc diamond save?

i do not have this phone but i do know that it should show how many letters can go in each message in the top right hand corner. and the messages saved in the inbox differs with every phone it really just depends on how many messages are in the outbox and how many pictures you have saved what type of texts like pictures and videos will take more space and just the memory left on your phone

im going to buy an htc diamond from telus but i need to know how many messages the phone can save in the inbox. also how many letters can go in per message?

any help would be extremely helpful!!!!
