how do i put a divx/xvid dvd file from my computer on to a disc??

obviously i would burn it but the way i've been doing it at the moment is downloading the file, and buring the film straigh onto a standard cd/rw 700mb, as a data file and playing it on my Divx DVD player, but i want to put it bigger files onto an actual DVD disc how do i do thid correctly??

can anyine please help would be much appreciated??

basically i want to doanload big files eg. 3.gb and put them onto a DVD im a complete novice as you maybe able to tell so any help would be very greatly appreciated???

Use easy dvd creator this is really easy to use you download you file drag and drop it onto easy dvd creator pick which reagion your in pal(eu) or ntsc (america) then click start and it does everything for you. go download it from their website ( the free trial works fine....)
