Jesus Christ literally and physically taught his Apostles and through them

created his Church. My question is? When did Jesus stand physically and literally speak to Martin Luther or any of the founders of non Catholic Churches and tell them he was founding new Churches and the one he started with the Apostles was now wrong and he really did not intend to protect it from all error and Hades.????

LOL. Of course, Jesus said nothing to Martin Luther or any of the other 30,000 religious founders who thought they had a better idea than Jesus.

Rather, each of the men or women who organized a rival church to Jesus decided that Jesus had it wrong and that he or she knew better than Jesus. Perhaps people only needed faith and didn't have to practice charitable works. Perhaps they didn't need the Church to safeguard Jesus' teachings, but could decide for themselves what Jesus meant by reading the original Catholic teachings in scripture 1500 to 2000 years after the fact.

One of the great developments in Christianity in the 21st century are the honest and scholarly evangelicals who are looking back to the first centuries of Christian teaching, and particularly to the Fathers of the Church, and asking what Christ originally meant in his teachings. The associates of Lee Strobel (see link) are among the avant garde in reaching back to the foundations of Christianity.

When you think about it, it's pretty silly to imagine that modern readers know more than those handpicked disciples trained by Jesus, and that they can impose imaginative readings on ancient writings from nearly 2000 years ago.

    Cheers,
    Bruce

Martin Luther was a catholic monk who was sick of the corruption of the church

Jesus did not start the Catholic church. He never told us to be christians, he was a Jewish rabbi

first off, jesus never created the "church" we see today.

to the contrary, he loathed and scorned organized religion, such as the pharisees with all of their crazy rules and regulations.

so the answer to all your questions is: never. his teachings are his teachings.

Why is it that "Christians" only believe God or Jesus speaks to them? But try to cram their damn religion down everyone elses throat? I guess until you give enough money to christian churches - Jesus does not have your phone number.
