wondering.
go talk with a local vet and they can give you this stuff that makes them sleep soo they dont have to go potty and dont feed the dog lie 2 hours before u leave and no water for like an hour before u leave an make shur the dog goes potty before you leave
Safely: In a crate or with a seatbelt
Comfortably (for the dog) : free to roam around the back seat or trunk
I use a seatbelt for longer trips and let him sit in the front seat around town. In the case of an accident, you want the dog to be secured. He also travels very well so he would have no problem traveling that distance. Some dogs need to get out for breaks.
so they can go to a rest area and stretch and play with the dog for a bit then go back on the hwy
well if you go to a co-op or health food store you can find natural pet calmer depending and the type you give it to them differently i'm not sure if it's weed or crack or really just pet calmer but hey! it works!!~ XD
ive traveled with 3 dogs from alabama to iowa and all you do is stop atleast once every 2 or 3 hours and feed them and let them use the bathroom.
They crate the dog in the car (to protect the dog in the event of an accident and also to keep the dog out of the way of the driver), and stop every couple hours to offer water and let the dog have a potty break.
I travel 6 hours from my home for christmas, we take our pekingese with. We do make frequent stops every 1 and 1/2 to 2 hours. When i went to get my female, we drove 10hours to get her, and 10 hours home. She did get car sick once, just make sure the dog doesnt eat before the trip, if it does get car sick, trust me that stuff isnt fun to clean up.
Its easy, they sleep most of the time,But you would have to stop and feed them and walk them so they can go to the bathroomIts not bad,
Way better than traveling with crying babies
