Whos 3G coverage for a Smartphone is really better?

ATT vs Verizon.
Specifically I have an Iphone. I have ATT, I checked their coverage map for the area I live in.. AND THEY LIE!!! I Dont have the 3G network in 80% of the places they say is should be Great.
Since Verizon will be getting the Iphone,
How is there network really, and does their map Lie too?

i hate att and i have the iphone, where i work they can get verizon but not att....it pisses me off alot!! i would so go with verizon
