Is there a howto, on using a newsgroup reader with yahoo? What is the

port-number of news.yahoo.co.uk? Tried to use an external newsgroup reader to access yahoo newsgroups. It is icedove (debian linux). I tried the news.yahoo.co.uk with port 119. Didn't work. So I pinged the news.yahoo.co.uk - that worked. I telnet the 119 port. Doesn't work. Telnet on the standard SSL-port 563 doesn't seem to work either....

Is there any howto on using yahoo newsgroups with a reader? What is the right newsgroup server adress? The port number? Do I have to turn SSL on?
